Is this really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit. The card is made in your browser, and your UPI ID never leaves your device.
Does Tripti take a cut or see my payments?
No. The QR code only holds your UPI ID and name. Money goes straight from your customer’s bank to yours, and we never see it.
Which apps can scan it?
Any UPI app: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and the apps from every major bank.
Should I put an amount on the card?
Not for table or counter cards, because every bill is different and customers type the amount. A fixed amount suits a single price, like an event entry, a combo or a delivery charge.
Can I use my personal UPI ID?
Yes, it works with personal and business UPI IDs. If you take many payments a day, ask your bank for a business (merchant) UPI ID, which usually has higher limits and settles to your current account.
How big should I print it?
The A6 table card prints the code 4 to 7 cm wide, depending on how much text is on the card. That scans easily from a seat. For a counter or a wall, use A5 or A4 so it scans from further away.
What if my UPI ID changes?
Make a new card here and reprint it. The code holds your UPI ID itself, so an old card keeps paying the old ID.
