Who’s behind this?

From Puglia (a Southern Italy wonderful region), born in 1991, 1.63 meters…short! Despite the fact I’m on my way to my 30ies, I’m still struggling to define myself. By clicking on this page you should find only these words:

Work in progress.

However, I may still have something to tell you about me.

“Grown-ups love figures. When you describe a new friend to them, they never ask you about the important things. They never say ‘What’s his voice like? What are his favourite games? Does he collect butterflies?’ Instead they demand ‘How old is he? How many brothers has he? How much does he weigh? How much does his father earn?’ Only then do they feel they know him.”

The Little Prince

When I was 4, an elder cousin brought me a copy of The Jungle Book which included a couple of pages with the alphabet: each letter was combined to a colored flag. Thanks to that book and to my father’s patience, I precociously entered the tunnel of reading and I hope to never have to come out.

.

Every night before a school trip I could hardly sleep, because of the excitement. With the passing of time, I came to the point of missing trains because of oversleeping. However, every journey is sure to get the adrenaline flowing, even if I’m still in the planning or even dreaming phase.

.

Cooking makes me feel relaxed, cooking for others makes me feel joyful. Even though sometimes their reaction is not the best.

.

I like thinking that each of us can make a difference in this world and make it a better place. Even only for one small gesture.

.

I believe in the strength of a smile. And in the unavoidable f*** off every now and then.

.

I love volleyball, the sea, winning board games.

.

I hate talking about money, being interrupted when speaking, winter, a badly made Margarita, losing board games.

.

.

P.S.: Tell me something about you too, if you want. But not as the grown-ups love.
